Check if Your Business is Eligible
To apply, your business should meet these basic criteria:
- Be legally registered and based in India.
- Operate in a sector such as textiles, agriculture, manufacturing, handicrafts, IT, or other sectors that showcase Indian culture and heritage.
- Demonstrate a commitment to quality, sustainability, and ethical business practices.
- Have no major legal issues or customer complaints.

Gather Required Documents
Here’s a list of documents you’ll need:
- Business Registration Proof – GST certificate, incorporation document, etc.
- Product or Service Description – Detailed information on your offerings and how they represent Indian values and standards.
- Sustainability Documents – Proof of sustainable practices (environmental reports, sourcing certificates).
- Financial Statements – Balance sheets, income statements for the last 2-3 years.
- Quality Certifications – Any certifications that demonstrate quality in your business.

Submit the Application
You can submit your application form and documents through our official website or by sending a hard copy to our office. Please ensure all information is correct and complete, and pay any required processing fee.

Screening and Review Process
- Our Business Screening Committee will review your documents to confirm they meet all criteria.
- After initial approval, a Brand Bharat Official Officer may arrange a site visit or conduct interviews to evaluate your business’s standards.

Receive Your Certification
Once approved, your business will receive The Brand Bharat certification, which is valid for three years at the national level or five years at the international level.

Annual Reviews and Renewal
- To maintain your certification, annual reviews are conducted. You can apply for renewal three months before your certification expires.
